The Role

The Account Manager (reporting into the Account Director) will collaborate closely with the sales team to manage the day-today relationships of our brands, agencies and networks, helping them achieve their marketing objectives in line with our product & services. You will be the client-facing contact & the internal coordinator of campaigns, with operations, with a remit to cross-sell/upsell existing clients on new opportunities & products. There needs to be a natural commercial hunger present in your day-to-day work.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the existing business pipeline of priority accounts, maintaining and tracking performance in the company’s CRM platform
  • Act as the primary contact to develop a strong client relationship and manage allocated client relationships with a long-term view of retention, revenue expansion and depth of contact with clients
  • Proactively find opportunities, identify client pain points, understand their products, services and business goals, addressing these with the range of products and services esbconnect offers
  • Identify and acquire commercial opportunities, from existing clients, in line with the overall commercial strategy
  • Utilize presentation and analytical skills to provide clients with updates on new business capabilities, actionable recommendations and insights on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure that client service is always best in class and address and solve any issue in an effective and timely manner to provide satisfaction
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure company’s success with:
    • Sales team to onboard new clients in a consultative and structured manner
  • Operations and delivery team to help them exceeding targets by providing meaningful information about clients’ goals, KPI’s and performance
  • Capture and translate market feedback into product requirements and collect market data and information to guide our overall strategies.
  • Contribute to a team culture focused on authenticity, transparency, client-centricity and active collaboration

Requirements:

What we are looking for

You will have demonstrated a growing ability in managing client stakeholder relationships, handling day-to-day account duties, cross and upsell opportunity creation and telling great stories with data, through data analysis and data interpretation.

You will be able to demonstrate that you can manage both internal and external stakeholders in tandem and to time and brief. You will be very organized, self-sufficient, and strong at pipeline management. You will be knowledgeable in presentation tools and techniques.

You will have a good knowledge of digital marketing technologies and an added benefit will be a focus on performance marketing and email marketing products.

Experience required

  • Minimum 2-3 years progressive experience in digital marketing client services
  • Strong client service competencies coupled with demonstrated commercial awareness
  • An understanding of client stakeholder dynamics, campaign planning and buying cycles
  • Highly organized, with ability to be agile in our fast-paced environment.
  • Good excel skills and data analysis capabilities
  • Email marketing knowledge and experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proven presentation ability
  • Ability to deliver both quick turnaround and consultative commercial opportunities
  • Discipline, time management, self-motivation and resilience.
  • Fluent in English
